ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — The University of Michigan has given an all-clear after sending out alerts warning of an unconfirmed lively shooter at a campus constructing.

Alerts about an “lively shooter” issued by the varsity’s Department of Public Safety and Safety asked college students who have been close to Mason Corridor to “run, cover, battle.” The messages went out just after 5 p.m. ET on Saturday and stated officers have been responding on the capturing stories. Mason Hall is an educational building in the primary space of the Ann Arbor campus.

About 40 minutes later, the varsity sent another alert saying there “does not look like an lively menace to the group.” The division requested college students to continue to stay away from the world and stated they have been investigating.
