PARIS (AP) — The French authorities says it has offered 38 million euros ($forty three million) in financial help for staff who’ve been put on decreased work hours as businesses wrestle with anti-authorities protests.
The ministry says some seventy two,600 individuals in 5,000 corporations have been placed on decreased work hours, for decreased pay, because the yellow vest protest movement started on Nov. 17. Companies, principally within the metropolis centers, noticed income fall by 20 to forty % on common in current weeks resulting from demonstrations happening each Saturday.
