ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — An Albuquerque man says his landscaper requested permission to bury a cat in his backyard, but police in search of the landscaper’s missing 1-yr-previous daughter found her physique as an alternative.

Thomas Dunn informed KOAT-TV that 26-yr-previous David Zuber referred to as in late December and stated he needed to bury a cat. Dunn stated that was OK because his household uses the yard as a pet cemetery.

However the household was stunned in early January when authorities showed up and found Anastazia Romero’s physique buried in a trash bag inside a duffel bag and underneath a dog’s stays.

Police began on the lookout for the child after a relative of Zuber stated he had stated the kid drowned.

Zuber and 23-yr-previous Monique Romero have been arrested and accused of costs that embrace baby abuse leading to demise.
